Sunny Queen are seeking a Part-Time Recruitment Business Partner working 5 days per week, 5 hours per day (25 hours total), offering great flexibility and work-life balance. The Recruitment BP provides end-to-end recruitment and onboarding support across the business, partnering closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver high-quality talent solutions.
This role brings the Sunny Queen EVP to life, ensures candidates feel valued from first contact to offer, and supports diversity, workforce planning, and people experience initiatives. You will also contribute to data insights, process improvements, and the optimisation of our recruitment practices.
What You’ll Do:
Recruitment & Onboarding
Promote and role-model the Sunny Queen Mission, Vision and Values.
Maintain a strong people-first approach throughout the talent acquisition process.
Build and strengthen the Sunny Queen employment brand and EVP.
Manage and optimise the end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and offboarding process.
Develop draft adverts, define hiring criteria with managers, and manage external advertising.
Review and shortlist candidates, conduct screening, and present talent to hiring managers promptly.
Coordinate interviews, provide candidate updates, and ensure a seamless experience throughout.
Administer pre-employment and compliance requirements (medicals, VEVO, Right to Work, references).Administer and update LinkedIn and SEEK Life Pages.
Use recruitment tools, platforms, and networks to attract top talent.
Maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers across the business.
Manage the process for Position Description reviews and updates.
People & Culture Support
Maintain employee records related to onboarding, offboarding, and performance processes.
Assist with reviewing and updating People & Culture policies.
Support the team with People & Culture reporting and insights.
Contribute to the administration of the Rewards & Recognition program.
What You’ll Bring:
Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar recruitment role (essential).
Experience with HRIS or Safety systems (e.g. UKG) is highly valued.
Basic understanding of Industrial Relations legislation (desirable – training provided).
Skills & Attributes
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong ability to interpret and apply regulatory information.
Confident working autonomously and managing priorities.
Strong relationship-building, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
