Job Overview
The Recruitment Consultant is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and placing suitable candidates for client organisations. The role involves building strong client relationships, providing advice on employment conditions, and ensuring recruitment activities are conducted in accordance with relevant legislation and professional standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Obtain detailed vacancy briefs from employers, including job descriptions, required skills, remuneration, and employment conditions.
2. Develop and coordinate recruitment campaigns, including advertising vacancies and sourcing candidates through various platforms and networks.
3. Interview, screen, and assess candidates to determine their suitability for specific roles
4. Prepare candidate shortlists and facilitate interview and selection processes with client organisations.
5. Negotiate employment offers, including salary and contractual terms, between employers and candidates.
6. Provide advice to clients on labour market trends, recruitment strategies, workplace relations matters, and employment conditions.
7. Interpret and apply employment legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements to ensure compliant recruitment practices.
8. Maintain recruitment records, update HR information systems, and coordinate onboarding and induction processes for placed candidates.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in a related field, or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or human resource advisory roles.
Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices
Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple vacancies and work in a target-driven environment.
