About the Role
Join our People Services team as a Recruitment Officer and be part of something new! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in recruitment and HR. You’ll support the team by posting jobs, coordinating interviews and helping candidates and managers have a smooth experience. You’ll also pitch in with HR tasks when needed. Every day is different, and the work you do will make a real impact across the team.
What you’ll be doing:
Coordinating interviews and keeping candidates and managers informed
Posting job ads on internal and external platforms
Maintaining accurate candidate and recruitment records
Conducting reference checks and preparing applications for hiring panels
Supporting onboarding, including pre-employment checks, offer letters and induction
Assisting with HR tasks, projects and process improvements
Being a friendly first point of contact for candidates and stakeholders
Key Requirements
Be organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.
Communicate clearly and build positive relationships with colleagues, candidates and stakeholders.
Be a quick learner, comfortable picking up new systems and processes.
Bring a positive, proactive attitude and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
Hold a current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance, or be willing to obtain them.
Previous experience in administrative support is a bonus, but not essential - we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
