About the role:
As the Waikato Regional Manager, you will lead the strategic delivery and operational management of multiple projects across the region. This critical role requires a strong business development focus, with the ability to build lasting relationships, manage client expectations, and foster teamwork. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving both operational success and business growth.


Responsibilities:
Regional P&L accountability managing the region's profit and loss performance, driving financial outcomes in line with organisational goals.
Drive regional new business development while aligning efforts with CB Civil's strategic objectives to enhance market presence, secure key projects, and support long-term organisational growth.
Lead and inspire a team of project managers, site engineers, and construction staff to deliver excellence on all projects, ensuring a strong culture of collaboration, safety, and high performance.
Take accountability for the planning, resourcing, and execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors, building strong relationships and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
Monitor project budgets, control costs, and drive profitability through efficient resource allocation and proactive issue resolution.
Champion workplace safety by embedding a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, and driving continuous improvement in HSE practices.
Identify and capitalise on opportunities for business growth within the Waikato region, contributing to CB Civil's broader strategic objectives.

Requirements
Proven experience as a Regional Manager, Operations Manager, or Senior Project Manager in large civil infrastructure projects.
A strong track record of managing multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders simultaneously.
Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
Commercial acumen and the ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial outcomes effectively.
Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
