Monitors team Specialists and maintains smooth Operations.
Handles cargo movement and performs loading and unloading of trucks/containers, complying with regulations and internal procedures; takes corrective actions, if required.
Coordinates processing of shipments and handling of physical documents.
Plans resources and capacity (space, people).
Achieve financial and productivity targets.
Ensure Department KPI’s are maintained, displayed and achieved.
Ensure all Customs Legislation updates are kept up to date and all staff are aware of changes.
Supervise operations & any all issues cum shipments going beyond lead times.
Clearance lead times basis customer agreed KPIs with Customers.
Transport revenue & operations.
Monitors daily field operations.
Owns staffing responsibility and training of contractors.
Assures Quality Management Systems are implemented strictly and reports inactive QMS activities of his/her field of responsibility.
Plans and organizes an efficient and effective functional department, adhering to regulations and internal procedures.
Develops IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitors individual performance.
Identifies training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.
Monitors subcontractor performance and develops improvement plan with subcontractor for rectification of performance issues in compliance with Company and DP-DHL Corporate policy and standards.
Ensures contracted suppliers comply with company quality procedures.
Maintains pro-active communication/relationship with peers/superiors and especially informs superior immediately of discrepancies, problems or non-performance or non-observance.

Maintain contact and relationship with Government regulatory companies.
Support FICO in bad debt reduction.
Maintain and support interdepartmental relationships.
