Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and leadership expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll ensure that production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved through the efficient management of resources. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as fleet management, test teams, and other production managers), oversee the delivery of trains in a safe, clean, and fully functional condition, and ensure infrastructure is maintained to required standards.
You’ll specifically take care of managing a production team and monitoring production on a shift-by-shift basis, but also identifying areas for continuous improvement and implementing changes to optimize maintenance and operational processes.
We’ll look to you for:
• Managing a team, including overseeing staffing requirements, training, and organizational change.
• Ensuring all production meets safety and quality requirements.
• Monitoring working practices to ensure compliance with mandatory and statutory requirements.
• Minimizing depot-operating costs and maximizing operational efficiencies through effective resource planning.
• Reviewing work plans to meet production targets and analyzing any failures to achieve them.
• Proactively identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

• Higher National Certificate or equivalent in an engineering field (preferred).
• Management experience of large teams (10+ staff).
• Experience in fleet and/or maintenance operations and planning roles (preferred).
• Technical knowledge of relevant traction and rolling stock.
• Understanding of railway depot and industry operations (preferred).
• Familiarity with SAP and proficiency in MS Office, email, and intranet tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work to tight delivery timescales.

Reports To: Sales Manager/TL
Job Overview:
The Relationship Manager will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients, generating new leads, and contributing to the overall sales strategy. The RM will also ensure client satisfaction by resolving grievances and offering personalized solutions, focusing on sales planning, payment collection, and working closely with the digital marketing team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical & Product Knowledge:
o Possess in-depth knowledge of Tally software and its functionalities. o Continuously stay updated with new features and offerings of the Tally product suite.
2. Client Acquisition & Lead Generation: o Generate leads through cold calling, mass mailing, and mass WhatsApp campaigns. o Identify new prospects and follow up with them to convert leads into sales. o Collaborate with the digital marketing team to strategize on lead generation efforts.
3. Sales Strategy & Planning: o Develop and execute sales plans to meet targets. o Work with the sales team to forecast demand and strategize on customer acquisition. o Prepare and share quotations with potential clients, ensuring accurate pricing and terms.
4. Customer Relationship Management: o Maintain strong relationships with current clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction. o Gather feedback from clients to monitor satisfaction levels and preserve the company’s reputation. o Handle grievances effectively to resolve issues and maintain positive relationships.
5. Negotiation & Closing Sales: o Confidently negotiate with prospects and clients to close deals. o Handle sales objections, identify the best solutions, and ensure successful sales closures.
6. Order Processing & Payment Collection: o Take and process client orders accurately, ensuring timely order fulfillment. o Responsible for collecting payments from clients, especially for new orders and long-pending dues.
7. Reporting & Data Management: o Prepare daily reports and updates on sales activities, including lead generation, follow-ups, and client feedback. o Have good knowledge of Google Sheets and MS-Office for report generation and data analysis. o Generate MIS (Management Information Systems) reports for higher management, providing insights on sales performance.
8. Team Collaboration: o Work closely with the digital marketing team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives. o Be a team player by contributing to the overall performance of the sales team.
9. Discipline & Target-Oriented: o Be disciplined in meeting deadlines and achieving sales targets. o Develop a target-driven mindset to maximize sales opportunities.
Qualifications:
• Freshers or 1-3 years of experience in sales, telesales, telemarketing or a similar role.
• Knowledge and experience with Tally/Accounting software are preferred.
• Proficiency in MS-Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Sheets for data reporting.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in mass mailing and WhatsApp marketing campaigns.
