Release Manager Responsibilities:
• Manage at several deployment projects plus occasional internal projects simultaneously, maintaining requirement lists, meeting project timelines, and providing periodic status updates to senior management and works well under pressure
• Apply technology and other relevant standards as appropriate throughout the deployment life cycle
• Accountable for measuring, monitoring, and reporting to the project stakeholders with a routine status of the projects and actively communicating and mitigating risks and issues
• Update the deployment process as new versions of software are released or company initiatives evolve. periodically review internal processes to optimize efficiency.
• Provide development feedback and relay information discovered yourself or feedback submitted by customers pertaining to eClinicalWorks software or associated workflows to the appropriate product teams.
• Enforce strong change management processes
• Upon completion of deployment work with support teams to ensure proper handoff, feedback, and communication.
• Work with operational teams to ensure proper resource alignment and prioritization for multiple projects.
• Manage and communicate schedules for upgrades, patches, and other activities, which require impeccable coordination between multiple groups and the customer.
• Build project schedules, based on standard processes (which you will help develop and maintain), accounting for any “one off” requirements, and identify resources required.
• Delivers solutions which are quality and functionally tested, with supporting project documentation which meet functional and technical requirements.
• Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
• Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
• Knowledge and ability to use MS-Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
• Ensure risks are identified and establish mitigation plan
