Who We’re Seeking
We are looking for experienced and motivated educators with a background in teaching or tutoring science online. Candidates should hold a completed bachelor’s degree in science or a related academic field. This role requires a long-term commitment. Our courses run for 15 weeks, and consistency is essential for student success. Applicants should be professional, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality instruction.
Position Requirements
Successful completion of a background check
Ability to promptly respond to texts and emails to support students and scheduling needs
Comfortable working across time zones on a daily basis
Authorized to work in the United States
Availability will be confirmed after passing the demo class
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong understanding of elementary and middle school science concepts
Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate instructional strategies
Ability to explain scientific ideas in a clear, engaging, and interactive way
Experience managing student behavior in an online learning environment
Proficiency with virtual teaching platforms and educational technology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff
Ability to create a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning atmosphere
What would make you stand out from the crowd?
Teaching experience (including homeschooling, tutoring, mentoring, and other experiences) is preferred.
Teaching certification is preferred.

Our base salary is 15 dollars an hour for the first three months. After the first three months, teachers will be evaluated to see if they are eligible to go on to tier 2 teaching which qualifies them for multiple types of bonuses.
