About Ivory Anesthesia
Ivory Anesthesia provides dental anesthesia services with a focus on excellent patient care, clear communication, and smooth scheduling. We’re looking for a reliable, friendly, detail-oriented Office Assistant to help keep our patient coordination and administrative processes running efficiently.
Position Overview
This is a remote support role that involves answering incoming calls, assisting with Medicaid billing, communicating with patients via text, coordinating appointments and payments, and helping maintain organized records in our software systems.
Call volume is typically light to moderate (about 15–25 calls/day on average)
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming phone calls during scheduled hours and assist patients professionally
Coordinate patient appointments and payment logistics
Send and respond to patient text messages in a timely, friendly manner
Assist with billing (easy to train, most our patients pay cash)
Help organize patient and office information using our software
Support the team with occasional additional administrative tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
No experience necessary, but strong communication skills required.
Friendly, professional phone presence.
Comfortable using computers, texting platforms, and basic software tools
Organized, dependable, and able to follow systems and processes
Detail-oriented (especially for scheduling and billing tasks)
Able to work independently from home and stay responsive during work hours
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Basic Microsoft Excel Skills (or google sheets)
Customer service, scheduling, medical/dental office, or billing experience
Familiarity with Medicaid processes (helpful but not necessary)
Work-From-Home Requirements
Reliable internet connection
Quiet workspace suitable for taking calls
Comfortable learning and using office software tools
Computer
Good cell phone connection from home
