Key Responsibilities
• Execute comprehensive inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and final products to guarantee compliance with rigorous quality benchmarks.
• Apply your technical proficiency with precision hand tools, verifying measurements and ensuring adherence to complex GD&T specifications.
• Maintain exceptional quality standards, ensuring that products are devoid of defects and conform to prescribed workmanship criteria.
• Assess all visible finishes, paint, and skin quality to confirm they meet visual quality standards while ensuring hardware cleanliness.
• Validate compliance with critical installation procedures, including safety wire application and fastener installation, as well as reviewing First Article Inspection (FAI) reports for completeness.
Required Skills
• Proven track record as a Quality Inspector with hands-on experience in dimensional inspection of intricate parts and assemblies.
• Expert-level proficiency in utilizing inspection tools and interpreting complex GD&T requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify and rectify defects, ensuring assembly quality meets all standards.
• U.S. Citizenship or compliance with U.S. Government export regulations.
Qualifications
• Significant experience as a Quality Inspector, particularly within the aerospace manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of inspection methodologies and tools, complemented by robust problem-solving abilities and a meticulous approach.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in quality inspection or a related discipline is preferred.
