Sensory Innovation Therapies is hiring a Remote Speech Language Pathologist or Occupational Therapist with a specialization in feeding. Position Responsibilities:
Provides direct patient care and manages own remote caseload for feeding clients.
Completes daily treatment notes, to support initial and annual evaluations, supports plan of care documents, and other documentation as needed within the required time frame.
Creates innovative treatments to support the child and family’s feeding and mealtime goals.
Demonstrates competency in the use, care and maintenance of profession specific equipment, observing safety precautions and providing verbal explanations of the equipment and its purpose, if needed.
Participates in on-going collaboration with the client's team and family including emails, phone calls and face-to-face discussions, as needed.
Establishes and maintains relationships with clients and families by providing parent education, home programs, and parent support as needed.
Creates home programs to help support therapy goals.
Participates in supervision meetings to support clinical development.
In-depth knowledge of feeding/swallowing therapy principles, methods, and evidence-based practice.
Collaborate with therapy colleagues on treatment ideas, duration, and effectiveness.
Participates in all required company orientation, professional development and ongoing trainings as required.
Actively participates in staff meetings and team meetings, as needed.
Follows all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Master's/Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Occupational Therapy with a valid and current license in Florida.
Criminal record clearance, or formal exemption
Experience working with children or clients with special needs, including autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental delays
Benefits

Part-time, W-2 position with flexibility in schedule
