We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Resource Analyst/Paralegal II to join our legal team. In this vital role, you will support a wide range of legal functions across multiple practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, immigration law, family law, securities law, tribal law, patent law, and workers' compensation law. Your expertise will help streamline legal operations, manage complex case files, conduct thorough research, and assist attorneys with drafting and reviewing legal documents. Duties

Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case development across various practice areas.

Assist attorneys with drafting, proofreading, and editing legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, memos, and reports with precision and clarity.

Manage legal case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw; ensure accurate data entry and timely filing of documents.

Perform document review and analysis for litigation cases involving personal injury, landlord-tenant disputes, tribal regulations, or securities law.

Support project management efforts by coordinating deadlines, tracking case progress, and organizing evidence or exhibits efficiently.

Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses to gather pertinent information for ongoing cases or investigations.

Maintain organized records of legal administrative activities while ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards and organizational policies.

Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining effective phone etiquette.

Basic duties include front reception deck phone coverage, greeting and escorting visitors, delivery of requested items throughout the duty station as well as to-and-from offices in the local area and within a 50-mile radius.

Have sufficient knowledge of priorities, commitments, policies, and program goals of the requesting Government staff, in order to perform non-routine assignments such as locating and summarizing information from files and documents, as specified by the Government.

Proficient knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling, and an ability to learn and understand the organization’s requirements on style and format.

Basic knowledge of travel planning and the government’s travel regulations.

Data entry into basic spreadsheets and databases (mostly using standard language), initiating searches within program offices of various documents and files.

Support, review and update publicly published office content, to edit, write, create links, and add photos and documents to this official public site.

Provide basic computer hardware and software support

Ability to use basic office equipment including computer, photocopier, scanner, and computer programs such as LexisNexis, Laserfiche, Relativity, Adobe Pro, WordPress, Google, Microsoft, Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access and various cloud-based technologies

Experience

Basic administrative functions like: Timekeeping duties and Personal Property Management (tracking laptops, monitors, etc).

Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, or personal injury law.

Demonstrated proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; familiarity with research strategies for complex cases.

Experience working with document management systems like iManage or PCLaw; ability to organize large volumes of case files efficiently.

Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; keen proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy.

Effective interviewing skills for gathering detailed information from clients or witnesses.
