GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Executive Operations Program Manager provides strategic counsel, hands-on responsibilities, execution and communication support to executive leadership. The role oversees and optimizes organizational operations, ensuring efficient execution of strategic initiatives. This role bridges the gap between different departments and supports senior leadership in achieving business goals. Responsibilities include developing program roadmaps, managing schedules and budgets, mitigating risks, and driving continuous improvement.

TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS:
Strategic Advising: Serves as a high-level trusted advisor for senior leadership; acting as a strategic thought partner, confidante and sounding board; engaging in brainstorming freely, option analysis and challenging assumptions to provide transformative strategic guidance on key initiatives and decisions
Operational Framework: Establishes seamless processes and management routines that drive operational excellence; Translates complex concepts into practical, sustainable solutions, leveraging automation, process simplification, and enhanced reporting for long-term efficiency.
Influential Leadership: Acts as a catalyst for innovation and change among peers, leading strategic initiatives and coordinating cross-functional teams with strong influence and without direct authority, showcasing exemplary leadership to drive results.
Project Oversight: Overseeing high-impact strategic projects and directing cross-functional teams that advance the operations brand, image, culture, and engagement initiatives, as well as enhance talent management.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Leading and managing cross-functional teams; providing clear decision-making framework, data-driven insights, and recommendations to achieve strategic goals across operational domains.
Strategic Communication: Handling internal and external communications, and managing communications with the credit union executive leadership team; identifying and closing communication gaps, and streamlining how information is shared between departments
Building Relationships: Fostering relationships with key stakeholders and cultivating relationships with partner organizations and thought leaders; promote positive, collaborative working environment that enhances the credit union’s brand reputation and operational success.
Organizational Development: Review, design, and execute improvements to organizational structure; find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them; lead operations training and development agenda
Strategic Planning & Change Management: Strategizes and facilitates key initiatives, and manages change initiatives including budgeting and vendor contracting
Execution of Strategic Vision: Translates strategic objectives into actionable plans striving for innovation promoting a culture of innovation and accountability; Drives initiatives from concept through completion with metrics to measure success and impact.
Risk and Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations and manage operational risks. Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Regulatory: Maintains a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance items including but not limited to BSA, RESPA, UDAAP, FLSA, etc.
Evaluation: Monitoring and evaluating operations and strategic performance metrics
Crisis management: Support crisis management situations effectively and efficiently
Executive Support: Supporting senior leadership with administrative and strategic needs
Special Assignments: Undertake special projects and assignments as requested by senior leadership and/or perform other assignments as required.

ORGANIZATIONAL CONTACTS & RELATIONSHIPS:
1. INTERNAL: All levels of retail staff, enterprise staff and executive management.
2. EXTERNAL: Members, credit union industry associations, community and strategic partners, and other internal and external individuals.

QUALIFICATIONS:1. EDUCATION:
a. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or similar field

2. EXPERIENCE:
a. 10 years or more years of experience in program or business management, operations, or strategic planning, preferably in a financial institution.
b. Experience supporting C-suite executives or working in executive operations

3. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:
a. Proven work experience as a team leader or manager
b. Superb professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
c. Proactive and effective mentality with excellent problem solving and judgment skills in a fast-paced setting and with a strong work ethic. Anticipate by identifying issues, needs, options, and solutions before being asked.
d. Thorough knowledge of the Credit Unions strategic goals, business initiatives, and priorities.
e. Quick learner, responsive, ability to multi-task, and strong time and calendar management and organizational skills.
f. Strong project management skills to track multiple concurrent projects and follow-through with senior management as required keeping deliverables and deadlines on track to successful completion.
g. Independent worker with ability to be flexible and work in a team environment
h. Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft Windows Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, Survey tools, and other standard office equipment (telephone, facsimile, copier, etc.):
i. Strong verbal and written communication skills with astute attention to grammatical details.
j. Strong interpersonal skills, friendly, humble, patient, and adaptable.
k. Demonstrates exceptional service in all that they do, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions and communications.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prolonged sitting throughout the workday with occasional mobility required.
Corrected vision within the normal range.
Hearing within normal range. A device to enhance hearing will be provided if needed.
Ability to lift 15 lbs. as may be required.
Occasional movements throughout the department daily to interact with staff, accomplish tasks, etc.
Limited local and statewide travel by car or public conveyance.
Unusually long work hours may be required to accomplish tasks.
