Opportunity Overview:

The Retail Operations Coordinator is a vital role that connects the operations team at HQ with our store and field teams. This position focuses on implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) developed by the Retail Operations Manager and gathering insights from the field to enhance operational processes. What You Will Achieve
SOP Implementation & Rollout
• Assist in the rollout of new and revised SOPs to store teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding at the store level.
• Follow up with store teams post-rollout to confirm SOP adoption and identify areas needing additional support or resources.
• Create user-friendly implementation toolkits (checklists, quick reference guides, FAQs) that help store associates apply SOPs in their daily tasks.
• Coordinate with store managers and field leaders to organize SOP training sessions and track training completion.
Field Feedback & Process Improvement
• Act as the primary channel for feedback between stores and the HQ operations team, gathering real-time insights on operational effectiveness.
• Conduct store visits and operational evaluations to monitor SOP adherence and collect qualitative feedback from store teams.
• Document recurring operational challenges and escalate patterns to the Retail Operations Manager with supporting observations.
• Assist in testing revised SOPs in pilot stores, gathering structured feedback during trial periods.
Compliance Monitoring & Store Support
• Perform routine compliance checks to assess store adherence to operational standards and SOPs.
• Provide immediate coaching to store teams when deviations from procedure are observed.
• Track and report compliance findings using standardized templates, escalating critical issues as needed.
• Support new store openings through on-site operational setup, orientation, and SOP reviews.
Communication & Coordination
• Help draft communications for stores regarding operational updates, procedure changes, and compliance reminders.
• Maintain organized records of SOP rollout status, training completion, and compliance audit results.
• Coordinate with store managers to ensure operational issues are resolved quickly and documented.

What You Will Need
Education & Experience
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Retail Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in retail operations, store management, or operational support roles.
• Experience with SOPs or process documentation, particularly in implementation or training capacities.
• Prior experience in a multi-store retail or corporate environment is a plus.
Technical Skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable creating checklists, trackers, and simple reports.
• Able to draft clear and organized written communications aimed at store-level audiences.
• Familiarity with retail operations tools (POS systems, scheduling platforms) is preferred.
Core Competencies
• Detail-oriented and diligent in execution, ensuring consistency in the implementation process.
• Able to clearly explain operational procedures to both frontline associates and managers.
• Enjoy spending time in stores, observing operations, and cultivating relationships with store teams.
• Effectively collaborates with both HQ and store-level stakeholders, comfortable communicating questions and concerns.
• Demonstrates accountability by following through on commitments and keeping stakeholders informed.
Physical Requirements
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while operating a computer or other office equipment.
• Occasional lifting or moving of items weighing up to 25 pounds may be necessary.
• Must be able to travel to store locations for field visits and new store openings.
