Job Description
Purpose of the Role
The Revenue Accountant plays a key role in managing Achieve's funding processes. This role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely revenue claims and invoices for all funded services, especially in Group Home settings.
Main Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end revenue process to ensure that revenue is reflected accurately in a timely manner.
Report & analyse revenue claims that have been rejected by the NDIS portal, and liaising with the Operations Managers and other stakeholders to enable prompt & accurate resolution.
Review systems and records of funded Rosters of Care ensuring consistency between all parties.
Act as a trusted business advisor with all areas of the business to drive greater understanding of the funding model operating at Achieve.
Ensure update and synchronization of revenue records across all systems.
Troubleshoot and communicate revenue management process problems with other internal or external stakeholders.
Requirements
Tertiary level qualifications in Accounting.
Experience in a Financial or similar Accountant role in a medium to large organization.
Innovative problem solving with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills in a high-transaction volume environment.
Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office systems.
Ability to foster effective working relationships at all levels.
