There has been a new wave of HR with changing priorities of individuals and the dynamic demands of businesses. We are looking for people in HR Domain across areas which can help us form an inclusive, diverse, and talented team which can not only solve people problems but strategically contribute to the growth and development of the organization.
We are looking for a RHRO Manager India, responsible for providing strategic HR leadership to functional leaders. This role involves partnering with senior management of Rio Tinto India, overseeing India HR operations, building HR initiatives, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. The Regional HR Lead plays a critical role in driving organizational effectiveness, talent management, employee engagement, and fostering a positive work culture within the region.

Scope: Your scope will include (but not limited to) below:
HR Support:
Act as a people ally to functional leaders, providing expert advice and support on people and capability interventions.
Offer guidance and consultation to Leaders on HR matters, legislative compliance, and best practices.
Lead recurring annual activities such as salary reviews, talent reviews, and performance management processes.
Compile and analyze HR metrics and data to provide insights and recommendations to your respective areas.
Drive employee engagement initiatives across the organization, including organizing and conducting employee sessions.
Resolve HR-related queries in a timely manner to ensure a positive employee experience.
Case Management and Compliance:
Take responsibility for all case management and legal matters across the business unit.
Liaise with global Employee Relations (ER) for local matters, ensuring compliance with internal processes and legal requirements.
Ensure implementation of group-level guidelines related to equality and inclusion, discrimination, and other relevant areas.
Collaborate with the Employee Relations (ER) and Business Conduct Office to manage local case management and investigations.
HR Policies, Processes, and Projects:
Serve as the custodian of HR processes, ensuring their effective implementation across the organization.
Oversee the implementation of human resources programs and policies within the business vertical.
Work closely with HR Business Partners (HRBP) to provide support and guidance on all HR-related matters.
Support local HR projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement appropriate tools, systems, and processes.
Advise and support the development of human resources policies, procedures, and programs.
Provide feedback on policies, procedures, and programs to the relevant Areas of Expertise (AoEs).
About Yourself
We are looking for passionate candidates having:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in HR roles, with exposure to performance management, talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development.
Sound knowledge of local labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to compile and analyze HR metrics and data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide guidance and consultation to business leaders.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Experience in case management, compliance, and working with employee relations is desirable.
Proficiency in HR software and systems, with the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
