Are you ready to take ownership of complex risk events and drive meaningful remediation across the business? This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, collaborating across departments, and ensuring that risk events are resolved effectively, efficiently, and in the best interests of our customers.

You and Your Team:

As a Risk Innovation and Remediation Senior Officer you will be reporting to the Risk Innovation & Remediation Manager.

You’ll support the full end-to-end oversight and management of risk events that require remediation. This includes working closely with risk owners, business SMEs as well as technical and operational teams to identify the root cause of risk events, implement necessary controls, design processes and develop a remediation strategy to ensure timely and effective resolution within the designated six-month period from risk event identification.

In your day-to-day role, as a Risk Innovation & Remediation Senior Officer you will:

Lead Risk Remediation: Manage the full lifecycle of remediation—from root cause analysis to solution design and remediation delivery—ensuring resolution within a six-month timeframe.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with risk owners, SMEs, product, operations, and technical teams to understand the scope of risk events and implement effective solutions.
Drive Change: Coordinate with Operations Strategy to raise change cards, identify impacted customers, and design remediation strategies that are robust and customer-focused.
Governance & Reporting: Maintain governance structures, contribute to executive-level KPI reporting, and escalate critical issues to the COO Risk Committee as needed.
Sprint Planning & Delivery: Break down remediation tasks into manageable components and support cross-functional teams in meeting delivery targets.
Riskonnect & Cost Oversight: Maintain accurate tracking of remediation actions in Riskonnect and support financial reporting and cost provision management.
Control Frameworks: Ensure all remediation activity aligns with internal control frameworks and complies with RCSA and risk management standards.
What will make you stand out?

Experience in risk management, remediation, or process improvement within financial services.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools; knowledge of Riskonnect is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into actionable solutions.
A collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering fair customer outcomes.
