Riveting Operator / Team Leader

Position Riveting Operator / Team Leader Roles and Responsibilities 1. Riveting Operations Operate manual, pneumatic, or hydraulic riveting tools as per production requirements. Load rivets into machines and ensure accurate alignment of workpieces. Perform hand riveting for specific or specialized tasks. 2. Assembly Work Assemble parts and components based on technical drawings, blueprints, or work instructions. Ensure proper alignment and fit of components before riveting. 3. Quality Assurance Inspect riveted assemblies to ensure rivets are secure and meet defined quality standards. Use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify accuracy. 4. Tool and Machine Maintenance Conduct regular maintenance of riveting equipment. Report any malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately. 5. Safety and Compliance Adhere strictly to safety procedures and wear necessary PPE at all times. Ensure a safe working environment by following compliance guidelines. 6. Documentation and Reporting Keep accurate records of completed work, quantities, and quality checks. Report production issues or delays to the concerned supervisor or team lead. Key Skills and Competencies Minimum 4 years of relevant experience. Ability to read technical drawings and assembly instructions. Proficiency with riveting tools and assembly equipment. Attention to detail and quality standards. Physically fit to handle materials and stand for long durations.
