Responsibilities
This is a part-time, freelance basis, remote role for a Romanian to English Translator with a rate between $3-5 per minute of footage translated. The candidate has to be fluent in both Romanian and English languages and live in New York or HCOL areas/within the USA. The Translator will be responsible for accurately translating written and spoken Romanian to English for a reality television show. The role requires attention to detail, excellent communication and writing skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
• Fluent in both Romanian and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
• Proven experience in translation and interpretation
• Proficient in Microsoft Word Doc and Frame.io
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience in translating entertainment or media content is a plus
