What you will learn and contribute to
To process accounting transactions and reporting in accordance with process design, concept and service levels defined in the Service Description, control and monitor AP related tasks on daily basis, coordinate resolution and provide high quality service to all customers. She/he also focuses on process improvement, documentation and other assigned tasks, in order to improve the work efficiency and standardize the process.
Scope
Individual Contributor - Participates as individual contributor to team, usually in a support role or entry level professional. Semi - routine or standard tasks. Decision making limited to standard applications in own work.
Impact
Accountable for quality and accuracy of own output. Errors may have limited impact on function/project/customer.
Key Tasks
1.
• Re-Validation of all statutory documents received from supplier. To match Bill Of Entry (BOE) with material invoice and ensure that invoice value is available into BOE for successful payment Co-ordination with Chartered Accountant to get Forms 15CA & 15CB on Income Tax Portal of Govt. Of India. Arranging funding requirement from Treasury. Initiate a payment proposal with Nokia bank. Co-ordination with Nokia bank & resolving their queries , if any. Uploading all invoices into Bank portal and getting it duly singed by Nokia signatories and arranging this letter to bank. Completing all manual entries into vendor ledger including clearing into all relevant GL's. Handling all payment related queries from business / suppliers including providing remittance details. Month end closing activities and passing necessary accounting & clearing entries. Monitoring Overdue (OD) & Non OD invoices on weekly basis and taking necessary actions promptly. Monitor Ready To Pay Lead Time for FRG invoices . Take necessary actions wherever required to ensure that it is within targets. Monitor Paid On Time (POT) and its impact due to Foreign (FRG) invoices. Take necessary actions wherever required to ensure that it is within targets. Support Internal / External Auditors (Including Statutory Auditors ) by providing all necessary documents / details monthly / yearly. To monitor / review IDPMS list and work on it to clean up.
Your skills and experience
• Appropriate education in Accounting & Finance
• S2P process knowledge preferrable
• 7-+ years of relevant work experience in financial accounting
• Experience with SAP and MS Office applications preferable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skill
• Fluency in English (both written and oral)
• Team work spirit with a can-do attitude
• Ability to work under pressure
• Nokia internal tools knowledge is preferred
• Working knowledge of India tax regulations preferrable
• Knowledge of SAP is preferrable
• Sound Knowledge of English : to write / speak & read
• Banking experience will be preferrable
• Knowledge of foreign invoice processing & releasing payment would be preferrable
• Knowledge of foreign taxes / TDS & Foreign payment laws Is preferrable
