Sales & Operations Associate
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (On-site)

Ujicha Matcha is a premium Japanese matcha company and official U.S. distributor of Yamamasa Koyamaen. We supply high-quality matcha to customers nationwide and partner with cafés, restaurants, and retailers across the U.S.
We’re growing quickly and looking for a motivated, reliable team member to support both our sales efforts and daily warehouse operations.
About the Role
This is a hybrid role combining sales + operations. You’ll be speaking directly with inbound leads, helping close new wholesale accounts, and supporting day-to-day fulfillment and warehouse workflows.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to learn both sales and business operations in a fast-growing company.
ResponsibilitiesSales
• Take inbound calls and respond to leads (cafés, restaurants, retail buyers)
• Follow up with prospects via phone, email, and text
• Help close new wholesale accounts
• Build relationships with customers and provide product recommendations
• Maintain organized notes on leads and conversations
Operations / Warehouse
• Pick, pack, and ship daily orders
• Assist with inventory organization and restocking
• Prepare wholesale shipments and pallet orders
• Help maintain a clean and efficient warehouse
• Support basic logistics coordination (labels, shipments, pickups)
What We’re Looking For
• Strong communication skills (comfortable on phone + email)
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
• Able to lift and move boxes (up to ~40 lbs)
• Interest in food, beverage, or coffee/tea is a plus
No prior experience required — we’re happy to train the right person.
Compensation
• Hourly pay (based on experience)
