Job Description
Key Responsibilities:1. Business Development & Lead Generation
• Identify and develop new B2B sales opportunities within the travel trade, wedding, and corporate segments.
• Build a robust sales pipeline through cold calls, site visits, trade shows, and industry networking.
• Generate and qualify leads through proactive outreach and relationship building.
• Maintain an updated list of potential leads and existing partners using CRM tools.
2. Client Relationship Management
• Develop and nurture strong working relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, corporate travel desks, and event planners.
• Act as the face of the hotel for B2B partnerships; provide timely follow-ups, support, and assistance.
• Host familiarization (FAM) trips and property walkthroughs to showcase facilities.
• Address client queries, requests, and special requirements efficiently and professionally.
3. Contracting & Negotiation
• Handle rate negotiations, close contracts, and ensure compliance with company sales policies.
• Coordinate with the revenue and reservations teams to offer optimal rates and availability.
• Work closely with the marketing team to co-create promotional packages.
4. Market Intelligence & Strategy
• Research market trends, competitor activity, pricing, and customer expectations.
• Provide detailed feedback to the sales and leadership teams for strategic decision-making.
• Suggest product improvements or additions based on client feedback and market analysis.
5. Event & Group Sales Coordination
• Liaise with wedding planners and MICE agents for group bookings, event inquiries, and venue sales.
• Coordinate with the operations and events teams to ensure flawless execution of bookings.
• Prepare proposals, RFPs, and event itineraries customized to client requirements.
6. Sales Reporting & Administration
• Maintain daily sales activity reports and submit weekly sales performance summaries.
• Track and analyze conversion rates, average booking values, and segment-wise performance.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual sales target reviews and forecasting.
7. Trade Shows & Networking
• Represent the hotel at travel marts, trade fairs, roadshows, and promotional events.
• Organize B2B roadshows in key domestic and international source markets.
• Collaborate with tourism boards, DMCs, and luxury travel networks.
8. Team Collaboration
• Coordinate with front office, operations, and F&B teams for seamless guest experiences.
• Support junior sales executives and interns with training and mentorship.
• Work as a key member of the pre-opening team and support in setting up sales SOPs.

Educational Qualifications:

• MBA or PGDM in Sales/Marketing (preferred but not mandatory)
Working Conditions:
• Full-time, on-site role based in Jodhpur
• Requires frequent travel within Rajasthan and key metro cities
• May include weekend and holiday availability as per event schedules
