Role Overview
The Sales Consultant is responsible for driving revenue growth at Air Inspect Australia by identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities while nurturing long-term client relationships. This role sits at the intersection of technology, infrastructure and professional services, requiring a consultative sales approach and a strong understanding of drone-enabled inspection, surveying and spatial data solutions.
The Sales Consultant works closely with operations, project coordination and technical teams to ensure client needs are clearly understood and translated into practical, compliant and high-value service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across infrastructure, property, energy, transport, environmental and government sectors.
Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation and qualification through to proposal submission, negotiation and contract close.
Develop tailored, solution-based proposals aligned with client requirements and Air Inspect Australia’s technical capabilities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers and repeat clients.
Conduct client meetings, presentations and site briefings as required.
Collaborate with project coordinators, remote pilots and data teams to scope projects accurately.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting and CRM records.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities within the drone and inspection industry.
Represent Air Inspect Australia at industry events, client meetings and networking opportunities.
Ensure all sales activities align with company values, safety culture and regulatory obligations.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within technical, engineering, construction, surveying or professional services environments.
Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills.
Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong negotiation, presentation and closing capabilities.
Highly organised with the ability to manage a dynamic sales pipeline.
Desirable Qualifications
Qualification in business, marketing, engineering or a related discipline.
Experience selling drone services, geospatial solutions or technology-enabled inspection services.
Familiarity with CRM platforms and proposal management tools.
Understanding of regulatory or compliance-driven service environments.
