Are you an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented professional with a passion for hospitality and sales support? SkyCity Hotels Group is looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic Sales team in Auckland! We have nearly 1000 rooms across our 3 Hotels; the 5 star Grand by SkyCity, SkyCity Hotel and Horizon by SkyCity.
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
As a Sales Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Sales team by leading key administrative tasks and assisting in the execution of sales campaigns. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our sales initiatives and the smooth operation of our hotel group. You'll liaise with a wide range of internal departments including Finance, Hotel Operations, HR, Marketing, and more. You'll also interact with external guests, suppliers, and preferred clients.
Coordinate and support sales campaigns and projects
Maintain accurate records for corporate and group accounts
Assist with VIP guest profiling and reservations
Provide backup support for hotel reservations and group bookings
Collaborate with IT on system-related projects and improvements
Prepare and enhance reports for senior hotel leadership
Support end-of-month reporting and business development activities

Strong computer literacy
Experience with POS systems and stock control
Excellent communication and English language skills
A collaborative and respectful team player
Experience with Micros (POS), Opera, and PeopleSoft Supply Chain systems (preferred)
