Summary
Manage daily sales tasks, such as processing purchase orders, sales orders, pick tickets, and other related documentation to ensure smooth and efficient order processing and fulfillment. This role will also involve managing product data in PIMCORE and SYSPRO systems, ensuring that information is accurate and updated in a timely manner. The associate will play a key role in maintaining seamless operations while supporting overall sales and customer service goals
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Order Processing:
Process customer orders, including purchase orders, sales orders, agent billing, and related documentation, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Verify product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules, ensuring that all customer requirements are met.
Coordinate the administration of purchase orders through MRP with Production team
Prepare and process essential sales documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, agent sales orders, transfer of agent goods, and initiating RMAs, ensuring smooth order execution.
Coordinate purchase order administration with the Production Planning Manager through the MRP system to support production schedules.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the products, services, and promotions, offering customers accurate information to support their purchasing decisions.
Assist in product recommendations, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities based on customer needs and preferences.
Operate and manage database systems like PIMCORE and SYSPRO for accurate data entry and reporting.
Document user requirements and manage product data in PIMCORE to build and maintain a centralized product database.
Customer Support:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely and professional assistance regarding product information, order status, and service requests.
Address and resolve customer complaints and issues, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and retaining customer loyalty.
Track and monitor order status, ensuring that products are delivered on time and according to customer expectations.
Provide proactive updates to customers regarding any changes to their orders, such as delays or product availability issues.
Foster and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure long-term satisfaction, repeat business, and brand loyalty.
Other tasks:
Support sales-related projects and initiatives, contributing to the achievement of team goals and company objectives.
Assist in the generation of monthly and ad-hoc reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and order fulfillment.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and follow-up
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and ERP systems (e.g., SYSPRO, PIMCORE) is highly desirable.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, team members, and cross-functional departments.
Ability to handle customer issues and resolve challenges in a professional and efficient manner.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
