What the day will look like
This role is responsible for growing the portfolio and driving national growth strategies. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and executing a market leading growth plan
Looking strategically at opportunities for the cross-sell of products, services and risk solutions to both existing and potential clients
Engaging with potential clients through networking, referrals, pro-active marketing, presentations, cold-calling and any other methods
Identifying solutions for our clients to reduce their risk exposure through targeted intervention consulting and placement strategies
Active engagement with the Aon colleague network, to identify and foster new prospect opportunities, including managing the global benefits pipeline into and out of Australia

Skills and experience that will lead to success
A creative, clear and solutions-focussed thinker, you are hungry, proactive and ready to take ownership in this key role. To be successful in this role you will have proven leadership experience and success in business development and/or sales management.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role with a strong technical understanding of the Employee Benefits landscape, ideally with experience in Life (Group Risk), Private Health or Accident & Health insurance.
A strong network across Human Resources.
A high degree of resilience and an outcome focused approach
Highly self-motivated with an ability to ‘think outside of the box’ and ‘see arounds corners’ to assist clients in anticipating future needs
Proven experience presenting and influencing to a broad audience
A keen entrepreneurial spirit, with demonstrated success in leading a growth strategy
