Job Description
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and results-oriented software sales executive to offer our innovative Talent Management Software Suite to Academic Medical Centers and teaching hospitals. The ideal candidate will excel in selling software solutions to senior-level executives in the academic sector. With a focus on new client acquisition (80%) and nurturing existing relationships for cross-sell opportunities (20%), this role is key to our growth strategy.
In this role you will...
• Generate new business leads through proactive cold calling and effective sales resource management.
• Take charge of your designated market area.
• Build consensus among stakeholders.
• Negotiate and finalize long-term agreements with clients in your assigned marketplace.
• Meet or exceed sales quotas by understanding customer challenges and aligning our solutions to provide exceptional value.
• Conduct engaging virtual and in-person presentations about our offerings.
• Collaborate with Marketing to devise targeted strategies and materials tailored for academic medical centers and hospitals.
• Embrace additional responsibilities with enthusiasm as they arise.
You’ve got what it takes if you...
• Are a proactive sales hunter focused on attracting new business from Academic Medical Centers.
• Hold a bachelor's degree or possess equivalent experience.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in enterprise software sales, successfully engaging with senior executives in the technology solutions space.
• Bring 2+ years of successful sales in Talent Management and HR software specifically targeting healthcare or higher education.
• Rank among the top 10% in sales performance, with verifiable references and achievements.
• Are familiar with CRM systems like SalesForce.com and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Have a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales goals.
• Exhibit qualities of persistence, motivation, and a strong work ethic.
• Possess excellent multitasking and time management abilities.
• Demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills.
• Are capable of successfully working from a home office while being willing to travel at least 30% of the time.
• Show a history of stable job tenure and a commendable work track record.
