About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Assistant to support both our Sales and Marketing teams. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing account management, project coordination, and creative marketing support within the pet industry.
On the sales side, you will manage defined customer accounts, with a primarily focus on online retailers and smaller .com accounts. On the marketing side, you’ll help create and organize sales and marketing materials while supporting digital and promotional initiatives.
This is a hybrid remote/in-office position for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and is comfortable using technology, Excel, and creative tools to stay organized and efficient.
Sales Responsibilities
• Manage ecommerce customers, maintaining regular communication and growth
• Support account growth by setting up new items, updating listings, and managing content
• Track orders, sales performance, pricing, and promotions using Excel and internal systems
• Coordinate promotional activity to align with broader company sales and marketing goals
• Drive the implementation of enhanced content at online retailers, including:
• Product descriptions
• High-quality imagery
• Video and rich media content
• Ensure online retailer content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with brand standards
Marketing Responsibilities
• Assist in creating and updating:
• Sales presentations; Brochures; Price sheets; Sales support materials
• Use Photoshop to resize, edit, and prepare product images and marketing assets
• Support email marketing campaigns, including setup, scheduling, and result tracking
• Assist with social media and content initiatives (experience a plus)
• Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency, content creation, and organization
• Help organize marketing assets and maintain internal content libraries
Required Qualifications
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (tracking, reporting, organizing data)
• Experience with Photoshop or similar image-editing software
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Comfortable learning and using new tools, platforms, and processes
• Self-motivated and reliable in a remote work environment
Preferred Qualifications
• E-commerce sales and marketing experience a plus
• Prior work-from-home or remote role experience
• Experience with:
• Email marketing platforms
• Social media management
• AI tools for marketing or productivity
• Familiarity with online retail platforms and product content management
