We are an established Canadian company specializing in technical products for supermarket refrigeration and grocery equipment, serving a global customer base that includes several of the world’s leading retail organizations.
We are seeking a sales and marketing professional who can bring relevant experience, strong commercial instincts, and the ambition to grow into a senior leadership role. This position will initially focus on territory sales and account development, with a clear path toward leading sales and marketing functions as the company continues to expand internationally.
This is an on-site role based in Shawnigan Lake, BC, and is best suited for someone who values in-person collaboration and wants to play a meaningful role in a growing, specialized business.
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of developing and expanding business across assigned markets, managing key accounts, and identifying new opportunities through a consultative, relationship-driven approach.
Roughly half of your time will involve direct engagement with clients and prospects (phone and virtual), while the remainder will focus on strategy, account development, and collaboration with internal and external partners.
Over time, this role is designed to evolve into broader responsibility across sales leadership, market strategy, and marketing direction.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow relationships with existing and prospective international clients and high-potential accounts
Identify and pursue new B2B opportunities within grocery, retail, and refrigeration sectors
Conduct needs assessments and recommend tailored technical solutions
Manage the full sales cycle, including proposals, pricing, and follow-up
Maintain accurate activity and pipeline tracking in CRM systems
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive market expansion
Support and contribute to sales strategy, forecasting, and long-term growth planning
Provide product and application guidance to customers to maximize value and retention
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or commercial roles
(experience in industrial, manufacturing, retail supply, or technical products is an asset)
A demonstrated ability to build relationships, close business, and grow accounts
Strong communication skills with a professional, confident presence
A consultative, solutions-oriented sales approach
High level of organization, initiative, and accountability
Comfort working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Zoho), and standard business tools
Must be located on Vancouver Island within commuting distance to Shawnigan Lake
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportationCompensation & Growth
