As a sales operations data Analyst you will be responsible for supporting CRM data integrity such as territory carving and design strategies, maintaining account models and ensuring that data structures and hierarchies are clearly defined. The data Analyst will work closely with our sales and sales operations team to ensure territories are maintained and supported to drive a culture of success for Account Executives. In addition, this role will ensure key account data is meeting the defined data health quality and determining rules of engagement for automation within Salesforce.com. You will be held accountable for reviewing & auditing data structures and revealing insight and recommendations in keeping the CRM data updated.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
Responsibilities
• Own accurate firmographic information for all sales accounts in OneCRM and work cross-functionally to ensure compliance.
• Responsible for making decisions around cleaning and merging account records in Salesforce.com in accordance with the data steward governance (to include data quality , security & procedures)
• Partner with third party vendors for Account data (e.g. Data.com, DiscoverOrg, Dun and Bradstreet) and validating the data is accurate in Salesforce.com
• Support themapping of sales territories globally and the associated ongoing maintenance and audit of these territories.
• Drive the implementation of the team’s evolving tech stack that focuses on territory management for the field.
• Review and initiate process improvement through technology or process enhancements.
• Cultivate networks with people across a variety of business units and locations
• Review , monitor and audit data structures on a regular basis
• Instigate data integrity initiatives to contiusously improve data quality
• Create automation to assist in data analysis.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need
• 2+ years’ experience operating territories for global sales organizations across SMB to Enterprise, including Named Account models with complex account structures.
• Salesforce.com certified
• Experience with data providers like Hoovers and Dunn and Bradstreet
• Comfortable making logical decisions with limited information
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
• Combine qualitative and quantitative data to make business decisions
• Solve problems, thrive in a fast-paced environment and use logic to drive decisions.
• Research and make recommendations to answer tough questions.
• Strategic Mindset: Strategic thinking combined with ‘on your feet’ thinking; problem solver
• Analytics Thought Leadership: Strong analytical and financial skills, demonstrated experience performing financial modeling and developing complex financial models to drive business decision-making
