Your role and responsibilities
As a SAP ABAP HANA Application Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and supporting application solutions, emphasizing the HANA version of Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP). Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Design and Develop Applications: Craft high-quality, efficient application solutions focused on HANA's ABAP.
• Integrate Software Packages: Seamlessly integrate programs and reusable objects across multiple platforms, using your understanding of SAP HANA's Technical Concepts and Architecture.
• Re-engineer Application Components: Optimize performance and efficiency by re-engineering complex application components with skills in Data Modelling using HANA Studio and ABAP Development Tools (ADT).
• Ensure Code Performance: Uphold code performance standards using ADBC, Native SQL, and ABAP Core Data Services, ensuring compliance with SAP HANA Code Performance Guidelines.
• Consume HANA Live Models: Utilize your knowledge of Database Procedures, Text Search, ALV on HANA, and HANA Live models for effective solutions.
Required technical and professional expertise
• Experience with SAP ABAP HANA Development, focusing on the efficient delivery of application solutions.
• Proficiency in complex application component design and re-engineering.
• Strong background in SAP HANA Technical Concepts and Architecture.
• Skills in code performance optimization utilizing ADBC, Native SQL, and ABAP Core Data Services.
• Experience in consuming HANA Live models and related technologies.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Familiarity with SAP HANA modeling concepts and HANA Live models consumption.
• Experience with ABAP Development Tools (ADT) and related performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of database procedures, text search, and ALV on HANA.
