Job Summary
This entry-level engineering position involves working under the guidance of a SCADA Operations Support Engineer. The successful candidate will assist in planning, designing and executing engineering projects while collecting and analyzing data, contributing to engineering designs and maintaining accurate project documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support: Assist in planning, design and execution of engineering projects.
Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze relevant data.
Design Assistance: Contribute to development of engineering designs, drawings and specifications.
Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and milestones.
Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control processes.
Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations, environmental guidelines and other relevant compliance standards in engineering activities.
Problem Solving: Engage in creative problem-solving to address engineering challenges.

Requirements
Tertiary level qualification in Electrical Engineering or associated discipline.
Demonstrable understanding of electrical, SCADA and PLC design and/or operations, preferably in a water-based environment.
Strong literacy, numeracy, computing, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Motivation and enthusiasm, a keen eye for detail and a desire for excellent customer service.
