Roles and Responsibilities
• Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Write scalable and effective code in Java
- Integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Collaborate with other developers in the team and be part of not just writing efficient code but building best practices for the future
- Work in an agile team which focuses on delivering incremental solutions
- Participate in scrum meetings
- Own the deliverables and be a part of defining and implementing solutions
- Be a part of an ever-growing team where your inputs will be valued
- Ability to scope ambiguous problems, understand them and implement the same
• Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Spring, RESTFUL/SOAP Web services development
- Expert in Java, Spring Framework, Microservices, Spring Boot and Spring MVC
- Adept in API Implementation, Well versed with API structures
- Understands design patterns
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
- Familiarity with GitHub or equivalent source control repositories and Build Tools like GRADLE
- Experience with API back-end development
- Skilled at error handling during API implementations, well versed with debugging, security & authorization
- Understands error scenarios and can come up with solutions
- B Tech/M Tech in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed college with 3-7 years of expertise in backend API development using Java
- Strong in Core Java, Oops Concepts
- Excellent knowledge of building backend APIs using Java-based technologies
- Sound understanding of Web Frameworks
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent debugging skills
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT/SVN
- Good to have knowledge of containerisation
- 3 - 7 years of experience
