SDET-2 (Mobile - Appium)
Experience: 2 to 4 years
Location: Chattarpur, Delhi (Hybrid)

Overview:
We are looking for an experienced SDET-2 to join our QA Engineering team at SportsBaazi, with a strong focus on mobile app testing using Appium. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality user experience across our iOS and Android platforms and will also contribute to API, performance, and load testing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks for software applications.
• Contribute to ensuring comprehensive test coverage and operational efficiency.
• Write and execute automated API tests using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Assist in defining benchmarks and executing performance, load, and stress tests using JMeter, Gatling, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with team members to define test strategies and create test plans.
• Support the integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining test environments and infrastructure.
• Work closely with development and QA teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Document test cases, test results, and other relevant testing activities in a clear and organized manner.
Required Qualifications:
• 2–4 years of experience in software testing, focused on mobile automation using Appium.
• Strong knowledge of Android and iOS app testing lifecycle.
• Proficiency in a programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing automation scripts.
• Experience with REST API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Hands-on exposure to performance/load testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control (e.g., Git).
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Exposure to mentoring or supporting junior team members in basic test automation tasks.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and best practices in testing.
