Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
A crucial job supporting the whole business, our Security Officers play a pivotal role in safeguarding the safety and security of our customers, staff, and property. As the front line of defence, you'll be the first point of contact for any arising issues, engaging in both ad-hoc challenges and daily tasks, ensuring a job filled with exciting variety. The perfect role to kick start your career in law enforcement, this role offers a diverse workplace with great skill development to progress to that opportunity down the track!
Mōu | About You
A customer-centric individual with a positive attitude, friendliness, and professionalism. Quick thinking is a must, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills. If you love interacting with customers and thrive as a true team player, you're exactly who we're looking for.
The must haves:
At least 20 years old, a full NZ driver's licence (or obtainable within a few months)
A good credit history for your COA licence (which we cover the cost for)
Basic computer skills
Our Security team operates on a Monday-Sunday rotating roster, so flexibility for both day and night shifts is key.
This role involves some deescalation and conflict management to ensure that our customers and our SkyCity teams remain safe in their time with us; so your comfortability in these kind of situations is a must
Eligibility to work in New Zealand for at least 2 years
