Semi Senior Accountant
Wolverhampton
£25,000 to £33,000
Butler Rose Public Practice are delighted to be supporting a leading accountancy firm that are eager to appoint a full time experienced and highly motivated Semi Senior Accountant to complement their existing and highly successful team.
Role Requirements –
• Manage the process of preparing and submitting accounts for a variety of limited companies. sole traders and charities.
• Prepare and finalise accounts and tax returns
• Manage the process of VAT returns for a variety of businesses
• To prepare other financial documents such as cashflow forecasts and management accounts
• Play a key role in supporting our clients.
• Handling basic client queries and general administrative duties.
• Delegate to, train and review work of juniors
• Follow standard processes and improve and enhance them
Person Requirements -
• Minimum of 3 years practice experience
• AAT finalist or early stages of ACCA or ACA
• Proven experience within an accountancy practice essential.
• Knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, and iris is desirable
• Able to build long term relationships with clients and colleagues
• Enjoy working within a team and contribute to a positive workspace
• Work with high accuracy and pay attention to detail
• Able to time manage effectively and work well under pressure
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical and numeric skills
