Role Description
The Semi Senior Accountant will work full-time from home as part of our remote team at Ken Accounting Services Limited, located in the UK. This role entails performing day-to-day tasks related to financial reporting, preparing Value Added Tax (VAT) returns, reconciling accounts, and assisting with audits.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and present accurate financial reports on time
• Conduct VAT return preparations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Support audit teams by providing detailed financial information
Requirements:
• Strong skills in financial reporting, tax preparation, and account reconciliation
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Capium & CCH
• High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in IT, particularly Excel and Word
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
