Job Opportunity: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Richmond
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Position Type: Full-Time
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of SEND students? We are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our primary school team in Richmond!
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and group support to primary school students with ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviours.
• Assist in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and positive behaviour management
strategies.
• Work closely with teachers to create an inclusive, nurturing, and supportive learning environment.
• Help students develop social skills, manage daily routines, and achieve their personal and academic
goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience working with children with ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviours is highly desirable.
• Patience, empathy, and a calm approach to supporting young learners.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to meeting the diverse needs of students.
