Job Opportunity: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Richmond
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Position Type: Full-Time
Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs? We are seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in Richmond!
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored support to students with ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviours across both primary
and secondary age groups.
• Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management
strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students of varying
ages.
• Help students develop social skills, manage daily routines, and achieve their academic and personal
goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience working with children and adolescents with ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviours is highly
desirable.
• Patience, empathy, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A flexible and proactive approach to supporting students across different age groups.
