Services of Infinity Pty Limited (Infinity Financial) is looking for Senior Accountant to join its team.
Position Summary: As a Senior Accountant at Infinity Financial, you will serve as an essential pillar in supporting the firm's daily operations and our clients. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative, organizational, and technical support to our clients and ensure the seamless functioning of our practice and our service offerings to them. You must be an adept multitasker with a proactive approach, capable of handling diverse responsibilities with efficiency and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Financial Record Keeping
Maintain client accounts, using a variety of systems.
Prepare and meticulously analyze financial reports, ensuring precision and compliance with regulatory standards for our clients.
Generate detailed financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
Establish and uphold accounting systems to streamline and optimize financial reporting procedures.
Budgeting and Forecasting
Collaborate closely with firm leadership and our clients, to formulate and monitor annual budgets.
Develop financial forecasts and analyses crucial for supporting strategic decision-making.
Cost Management
Assist in overseeing the client’s financial activities to enhance cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational enhancements.
Tax Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to relevant tax regulations and liaise with colleagues or external tax advisors as necessary.
Prepare and submit tax returns and other required documentation accurately and within specified timelines.
Financial Analysis
Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to aid in business planning and decision-making processes.
Provide valuable insights into financial performance and trends, contributing to the development of strategic initiatives.
Collaboration
Work in close conjunction with legal and administrative teams, financiers and our clients to comprehend and address financial requirements.
Collaborate with external stakeholders as directed.
Take instruction from Supervisors.
Qualifications and other attributes
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA or CA certification is highly preferred.
Demonstrated experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
Profound knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, accounting systems, and taxation.
Strong analytical prowess and problem-solving skills, coupled with acute attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams.
Eagerness to learn, grow, and adapt within a dynamic professional environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
