Your Day-to-Day
Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, audits and reporting for a sub-unit of ALPA
Identify and implement impactful system improvements and automation
Lead, Mentor and develop team of Accountants, Assistant accountants and Finance Officers who report to this position.
Collaborate with leaders to guide financial decisions
Uphold ALPA’s values and contribute to meaningful, community-focused work
What You’ll Bring
3+ years post-qualification accounting experience
Strong leadership and mentoring experience
Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel skills (Dynamics 365 a bonus)
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A passion for linking finance with purpose and performance
Bonus Points For
CA or CPA qualification
Experience in the not-for-profit or profit-for-purpose sector
Familiarity with Northern Territory finance or business environments
