Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant helps maintain oversight of the financial statements of Bridge’s real estate portfolios and partnerships. This individual works closely with our external fund administrators to ensure proper monthly and quarterly closing of the books, including involvement in the real estate valuations process. The Senior Accountant works closely with other departments to assemble monthly and quarterly investor reports and annual business plans. This individual also assists the team in a variety of other areas such as audit support, tax compliance, loan compliance, partnership allocations, and other ad hoc reporting obligations and tasks. This is a full-time, salaried position.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Assume ownership of deliverables related to financial statements, investor statements, capital call notices, distribution notices, and other ad-hoc reporting as required
Work closely with external fund administrators to ensure timely delivery of financial close
Coordinate with asset management team on quarterly real estate valuations, and prepare carried value calculations and valuation presentations
Calculate and review complex incentive fees, management fees, capital calls, and allocations
Prepare reforecast, projection deliverables and other materials for executive team
Coordinate with other departments to manage deadlines and investor requests
Prepare quarterly loan guarantor compliance certifications
Identify and execute on process-improvement opportunities, communicating improvements to management and other internal teams
Perform ad-hoc duties as established by management
Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of Yardi accounting software
