Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
Mentor junior accountants, providing guidance on best practices and professional development.
Utilise accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and PeopleSoft for efficient financial management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and enhance financial processes.
Skills
Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software including Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and PeopleSoft.
Experience in financial management within the financial services sector.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to mentor and develop junior staff members effectively.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex information clearly.
