Job Description: Senior Accountant - Global (US Entity Role)
We are looking for an experienced Senior GL Accountant to join our accounting team in Hyderabad to drive financial accounting quality and efficiencies.
The ideal candidate is a teamplayer, possesses a strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
• Job location : Hyderabad, India
• Experience : 3 -6 years
What You'll Do Here
• Perform various GL month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations such as prepaid expense, accruals, intercompany, other assets and liabilities and others.
• Support preparation of balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analyses and investigation of any significant variances.
• Partner with cross-functional and international teams on a regular basis to identify areas for improvement and solve problems.
• Assist the team with accounting issues and queries.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the Company's accounting policies and procedures as the Company continues to grow.
• Prepare external audit schedules / support audit requests as needed.
• Assist with other projects and responsibilities as required.
What We Are Looking For
• Certified Public Accountant or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of related experience; previous Big 4 experience a plus.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Experience with Intacct or NetSuite.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and comfortable working with different IT applications.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and prioritize deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
• Analytical mind-set to approaching problems and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with general supervision.
• Intellectual curiosity, self-starter, and solutions oriented.
• Promote teamwork and work well with others.
