Senior Accountant
Job Description:
• Create and analyze liability, asset and capital accounts by compiling electronic data and required documentation
• Summarize and prepare financial status and transactions reports, including a profit and loss statement and other necessary reports by the end of every month individual outlet wise and share with MD
• Identify sales versus expenses reports outlet wise by the end of every month and share with MD.
• Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses
• Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
• Prepare financial statements
• Assess internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas
• Assisting in the design and preparation of budgets for review by management
• Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules
• Supervising accounting staff
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Delegate financial responsibilities to accounting team
• Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist CA with conducting audits
• Conduct regular ledger maintenance
• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the MD’s attention
• Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary
• Comply with all federal, state, and local protocols including legal requirements, and interpret new and existing legislation
• Create a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual for accounting policy and regulations, and roll out reconciliation procedures
• Monitor and maintain a new audit system by implementing new policies and procedures in the finance department
• Guide junior accountants and other staff by answering questions and coordinating informational classes
• Focus on tax compliance, state business registration, contract review, and non-profit tax filing
• Play a vital part in the company's financial management which includes all account reconciliations and reporting to necessary parties
• Manage payment cycle of all the vendors as per the defined time frame every month.
• Manage payment cycle of all fixed bills as per defined time frame every month.
• Transfer payment of salaries as per defined time frame every month.

Requirements :
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
• Strong financial analysis skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
• Ability to train and manage staff.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision.
