SETU (Science Engineering & Technological Upliftment) Foundation is a Section 8 Company (Not for Profit Organization) incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 established as India’s first-ever Common Engineering Facility Centre (CEFC) at Bardoli, Surat, Gujarat with the goal of training and development of skilled manpower to address the skill gap in the capital goods sector for manufacturing of critical components and equipment and to build the Global competitiveness of manufacturing sector. Product/ Prototype Development Center, Design Center, Skill Development Center, Testing & Calibration Center, and Heat Treatment Center are the current focus areas of CEFC.

Role Overview
Common Engineering Facility Centre (CEFC) supported by the Ministry of Heavy Industry (MHI), Government of India, and Government of Gujarat, we are seeking an energetic, efficient, enterprising full-time Senior Accountant to join our team.
Key responsibilities:
Manage all accounting transactions - Day to day Tally data entry including sales, purchase, receipts, payments, bank reconciliation statements, preparation of debtors/creditors statements, Stocks entry and transfer.
Handling petty cash, preparing bills, receipts, and challans and ensuring timely bank payments
Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
Preparation of Balance Sheet along with Profit & Loss Statement
Compiling & e-Filing Income Tax Return
Audit financial transactions and documents
Knowledge of returns for GST, Audit, Income tax, etc
Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned
Education Qualification: B.com/M.com
Experience: overall 3-5 years of experience in accounting/finance
Requirement: Good knowledge of accounting software Tally ERP, accounting regulations and procedures and MS Office
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
