As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for executing financial procedures, including month-end and year-end closings, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger reviews, forecasting and budgeting, statutory filings, statutory & tax audit process, filing annual return.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage accounting processes including revenue recognition, cash management, expense reporting, and Bank reconciliation.
Perform general accounting functions including preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and sub-ledger reconciliations
Participate in the annual financial audit process including interactions with auditors, providing reconciliation statements
Ensure that all financial reporting, auditing requirements, and compliance requirements are fulfilled.
Prepare and file local and state level tax returns, working with external tax consultants to ensure accuracy
Manage fixed assets and prepaid assets using Netsuite’s application
Experience in preparing & filing of GST monthly & annual return filing.
Good knowledge in 15CA & 15CB documentation
Experience in handling statutory & tax audits
Oversee cash management, transfers, and reconciliations
Assist in preparation of internal financial statements and reporting and preparation of other external compliance filings such as annual reports.
Process payroll monthly basis.
Perform other duties as assigned such as Intercompany work related
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Proficient in NetSuite application
Preferably worked in GreytHR payroll software
Able to work both independently and with minimal supervision
Prompt on work responsibilities
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
