Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant at Manifest Hospitality located in Kolkata metropolitan area. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the general ledger, preparing financial statements, conducting monthly and year-end closings, preparing budgets, and maintaining financial controls. The Senior Accountant will also supervise and mentor junior staff coordinate audits, and ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Experience in managing the general ledger, preparing financial statements, and conducting month and year-end closings
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in using Tally and MS Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and a relevant professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA
• 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
