Tatum by Randstad is working with a tech/manufacturing company in the Denver Tech Center currently looking for a strong technical accountant. The role will be responsible for performing various financial tasks including the preparation of monthly financial statements and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. This position will also support audits and compliance activities.
Responsibilities:
• Create specific journal entries and reconcile accounts on the balance sheet, ensuring adherence to US GAAP standards.
• Contribute to the development of monthly financial reports, including analysis of variances.
• Develop supporting schedules for interim assessments and audits.
• Aid in the creation of 10-Q and 10-K financial reports.
• Conduct technical accounting evaluations for new accounting standards.
• Collaborate closely with the internal audit team to ensure SOX compliance.
• Assist in designing and monitoring internal controls as required by Sarbanes-Oxley 404.
• Provide support for audits, compliance, and tax-related tasks.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S) in Accounting or Finance
• Local Denver candidates only
• The role is 5 days a week in office, located in the DTC
