Cindy Bradley at RH is actively recruiting for a GROWING SERVICES client located in Stafford, Texas! This Sr. Accountant will report to the Controller and will be responsible for handling various accounting tasks such as ensuring business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, performing financial close and preparing related month-end reporting. You will also have the chance to support the budget and forecasting process, and complete special projects as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Handle the reporting of business transactions in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Conduct financial close and prepare related monthly reports for review.
• Provide accurate and timely financial statements, including variance explanations.
• Carry out monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support the budget and forecasting process.
• Update ERP master data as required. Microsoft Dynamics a plus
• Perform billing, cash receipt/application, and collections activity.
• Execute vendor maintenance, invoice entry, and disbursement activity.
• Complete workers compensation monthly reporting.
• Assist in audits and statutory compliance requirements.
• Enhance and document processes.
• Implement and maintain internal controls.
• Complete special projects as assigned by the Controller.
Multiple locations - will handle P/L for each location.

Email resume directly to cindy bradley for consideration. cindy.bradley@roberthalf.c0m• Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role • Possess proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations • Demonstrable experience with General Ledger and Journal Entries • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required • Experience in Month End Close procedures is necessary • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics NAV is preferred • Ability to prepare and analyze Profit and Loss statements is required • Must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • High attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines • Knowledge of current financial regulations and accounting principles.
